Some clients may not respond as well as others.
Acne: Some client's condition may become worse before it gets better.
There is no cure for acne, only maintenance. Be aware that you may need more treatments in the future.
Hyperpigmentation/Melasma: Melasma lesions tend to darken after the first or subsequent treatments. Key factors in terms of treatment response are whether there
is a sufficient melanin in the affected area, the depth of the lesion, and other factors. Regardless of the treatment response, recurrence is common and can be caused by factors such as sun exposure, genetic disposition and hormones. It is important to understand that melasma, like eczema and psoriasis, is a chronic condition that can be controlled rather than cured.
Skin rejuvenation: After the complete set of treatments (typically once a month for 6 months)clients can expect to see the results continue for the next six months, after which they can start the treatments again.
Laser hair reduction and Ingrown hairs: A very good result with laser hair removal (LHR) is when approximately 15% clearance is achieved in each treatment session, and that an
excellent final outcome of clearance of 80% or more after 6 treatments is exceptional.
Nail fungus: Some clients will respond better than others depending on the severity
of the condition and how well the client adheres to the recommended after treatment care. While some clients may no longer be infected, their nail may not return to its natural color. Reinfection rate is high, especially in elderly clients and continuous foot care and monitoring their feet is the best regiment to deter reinfection.
Rosacea: Rosacea lesions tend to subside after the first or subsequent treatments.
Regardless of the treatment response,
recurrence is common and can be caused by a number of lifestyle factors. It is important to understand that rosacea is a chronic condition that can only be controlled rather than cured.
