When injected, Sculptra® or Radiesse may stimulate collagen growth which helps to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds over time. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds. Radiesse can also be used to create definition in the cheeks and jawline.

Currently at Skinvana Medspa we use FDA approved Sculptra® and Radiesse as injectable collagen stimulators.

All patients will be administered a topical and/or local anesthetic before receiving any filler injections. Due to the anesthetics provided, most patients feel no pain or discomfort during their treatments.

Before your treatment, you will have a one-on-one consultation with a Skinvana Medspa specialist. This one-on-one time is vital for safe and satisfying aesthetic results. During this appointment, we will examine your skin and review your medical history. We will explain the procedure, and what to expect from the treatment. If our assessment determines that Sculptra® is right for you, a unique treatment plan will be created  and you can begin your treatment regime immediately after your consultation. 

Like all fillers, there is little to no downtime. You will see effects immediately, however actual results will happen gradually over time as collagen is produced. Mild  swelling, bruising, and discomfort are among the most common post-treatment side effects. Clients will likely experience bruising and swelling in the treatment area for up to 2-7 days. 

Over time, Sculptra® and Radiesse help the body to reproduce lost collagen. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months.

The results are achieved once you've reached your desired look. Results last about 18 months to 2 years  but can vary from client to client.

Treatment costs will depend on the number of syringes needed in treatment areas, as well as the number of overall treatments to achieve desired results. Multiple treatments are recommended and it is more cost-effective to buy the packages for better and longer-lasting results.
